mindfulness meditation

presence.

let’s collaborate.

In a world that moves fast, mindfulness is a radical pause, a chance to reset, focus, and show up fully.

Backed by science, mindfulness meditation has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and physical pain while improving focus, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. My students often share how mindfulness helps them sleep better, communicate more clearly, feel calmer in tough moments, and realign their work+life balance.

I am excited about a new series of art+mindfulness events and I also I offer 1:1 sessions and group workshops designed to help you build a sustainable, realistic practice that fits your life.

art+mindfulness events

art+mindfulness brings guided meditation and quiet reflection into art spaces — museums, galleries, artist studios.

Surrounded by art, you're invited to slow down, breathe, and simply be present — in the space, in your body, in the moment. Research shows that time spent around art can ease stress and open us to a calmer, more spacious way of paying attention, and that's the heart of the art+mindfulness practice.

Each session blends seated and slow-moving meditation with quiet reflection, offered within the art space itself. Surrounded by art, your own breath and awareness are the focus. No art background or meditation experience required- just a willingness to slow down and notice.

art+mindfulness is a collaboration between Beth Kantrowitz and Jennifer Swanberg, Ph.D.. Beth is an independent art curator/consultant through bkprojects as well as co-director of Drive-by Projects. Jennifer is professor of health science and a nationally recognized work-life scholar, a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and work+life coach.
